National squad arrives in Austria for training camp

The national team arrived in Kössen, Austria on Wednesday for a one-week training camp following a flight via Munich.  The training camp includes two friendly matches; against Czech Republic on Friday 7th and against Greece on Tuesday 11th.

Both matches will be played at the MGG Arena in Grödig, the home ground of SV Grödig.

After the end of the domestic competitions, the squad had starting training on May 16 at the Malta FA Training Grounds in Ta’ Qali.

For this training camp, Marcolini recalled familiar faces like Jurgen Degabriele, Alexander Satariano, Luke Tabone, Jake Grech, along with Matias Garcia. Ryan Camenzuli, who missed out on the last international window due to injury, is also back in the squad.

Apart from Luke Tabone who is playing for Haverfordwest County in Wales, the other foreign-based players are Zach Muscat of SC Farense, Matthew Guillaumier of FKS Stal Mielec, Teddy Teuma of Stade de Reims and Yannick Yankam of Lexington SC.

However, Jodi Jodes is not part of the squad after a long domestic season with Notts County.
