Newly-promoted Zabbar St. Patrick secured the services of Malta Under-21 international Jake Micallef.
A product of San Gwann, Micallef moved to Portugal to join Boavista before moving to Leixoes last season.
Zabbar had earlier appointed Portuguese coach João Pedro de Oliveira Janeiro as their new coach.
