Floriana FC secured the services of Brazilian twenty four year old winger Thiago Nascimento Dos Santos.

Thiaguinho Santos is a product of Capivariano and later played for Rio Preto, Taquaritinga, Catanduva and Madureira in Brazil.

The Greens, who have appointed Darren Abdilla as coach, had earlier signed goalkeeper Christoffer Mafoumbi. The club had earlier extended the contracts of Alexandros Kouros and Guy Serge Yameogo but lost or released Lorenzo De Grazia, Willis Furtado, Christos Rovas, Maksim Valadzko, James Scicluna and Mateus Souza.
