Newly-promoted Zabbar St. Patrick continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Malta Under-19 international forward Sean Gatt.

Gatt started his career at St. Andrews before moving to Boavista in Portugal. Last season, he joined for Varzim SC.

Zabbar had earlier appointed Portuguese coach João Pedro de Oliveira Janeiro as their new coach and signed Jake Micallef and Luca Camilleri.
