Floriana FC signed Nigerian twenty five year old forward Anthony Abah Obonogwu.

Obonogwu played for Marsaxlokk last season after starting his career with P Sports Football Academy in Nigeria and playing for CD Feirense, Leca FC, Sertanense FC, Graciosa FC and CD Celoricense in Portugal.

The Greens, who have appointed Darren Abdilla as coach, had earlier signed goalkeeper Christoffer Mafoumbi and Thiaguinho Santos. The club has extended the contracts of Alexandros Kouros and Guy Serge Yameogo but lost or released Lorenzo De Grazia, Willis Furtado, Christos Rovas, Maksim Valadzko, James Scicluna and Mateus Souza.
