Floriana FC signed Brazilian thirty year old defender Fernando Augusto Rodrigues de Araujo.
Throughout his career, Fernandinho was on the books of AA Caldense, SD Juazeirense, União Recreativa dos Trabalhadores, Rio Preto EC, Moto Club, Uberaba SC, Paranoá EC and Inhumas EC in Brazil, Pelister Bitola and Makedonija Gjorce Petrov in North Macedonia, FK Partizani in Albania and KF Llapi in Kosovo.
The Greens, who have appointed Darren Abdilla as coach, had earlier signed goalkeeper Christoffer Mafoumbi, Anthony Obonogwu and Thiaguinho Santos. The club has extended the contracts of Alexandros Kouros and Guy Serge Yameogo but lost or released Lorenzo De Grazia, Willis Furtado, Christos Rovas, Maksim Valadzko, James Scicluna and Mateus Souza.
